Elandsvallei, a cattle farm in the district of Aliwal North in the Eastern Cape. We focus mainly on producing beef from grass fed cattle. Our cattle receive no supplemental feeding except for cattle blocks throughout the year.
We produce beef that is free from antibiotics and growth hormones.
Established in 2019, Elandsvallei is a continuation of the farming operations of the late Jurie Groenewald, who established the first grass fed herd of Drakensberger cattle on the farm, in 1992.
Our focus is now on strengthening our cattle operations through cross breeding Nguni cows while remaining true to our roots of producing healthy grass fed beef.
